Mark
The Book of Mark was written sometime around A.D. 57-63 to the believers in Rome and reveals Jesus as Servant. For this reason, Mark’s gospel does not begin with a genealogy of Christ. For who would be concerned with the genealogy of a servant?
Instead, Mark confines his gospel to the story of Jesus’ 3-year ministry, focusing more on Jesus’ actions than on what He said. We follow Jesus rapidly from one miracle and teaching opportunity to the next until Jesus’ public ministry culminates in the greatest act of sacrificial service in the history of mankind—Jesus’ death on the cross followed by His resurrection 3 days later, for our sins!

Do you long to have a compassionate servant’s heart? The disciples struggled with this just like we do. I hope you will join us in this free study of Mark…as we learn from our Saviour how to live in a way that serves and ministers to others!
And, yes, this Mark study is FREE! All you need is an open heart, a Bible, a notebook, an internet connection, and 15-minutes per day.
This online Bible Study divides the Book of Mark into short reading assignments 5 days a week for 5 weeks, making it possible to slow down and really listen for what God has for you each day. Here at Ladies Drawing Nigh we’re more concerned with hearing God than just getting through the book.
Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters, this study is available for free to anyone who wishes to know more about God and His Word. So, don’t forget to invite your friends to join us! It’s always more fun to study the Bible with friends.

A little about me:
Hi! I’m so glad you’re here, because I am passionate about helping others to know the joy…and freedom!…of surrender to God’s perfect way through the study of God’s Word. The Lord has used me to write eleven free online Bible studies so far, and I hope to write many more.
When I’m not writing, you can often find me going on “adventures” and enjoying life in central Alabama with my hilarious, handsome husband and our two precious daughters. I am an avid fan of chocolate, diet Dr. Pepper, sappy Hallmark movies, and my sweet family.
