The Book of Ecclesiastes, written by King Solomon toward the end of his life, describes his desperate desire to make sense of this life “under the sun.” As King of Israel and the wealthiest man who ever lived, Solomon had it all. But still, he found no joy, no meaning, no fulfillment. Instead, hopelessness and despair clung to him.
During Solomon’s lifetime, he explored most every form of worldly pleasure there is. Only to discover that everything is, at best, only a temporary diversion. And at worst, just another source of emptiness and regret.

Solomon finally came to understand that without God, all of life was meaningless, pointless. But with God, life is full, satisfying, and meaningful.

Meet Your Study Partner
A little about me:
Hi! I’m so glad you’re here, because I am passionate about helping others to know the joy…and freedom!…of surrender to God’s perfect way through the study of God’s Word. The Lord has used me to write eleven free online Bible studies so far, and I hope to write many more.
When I’m not writing, you can often find me going on “adventures” and enjoying life in central Alabama with my hilarious, handsome husband and our two precious daughters. I am an avid fan of chocolate, diet Dr. Pepper, sappy Hallmark movies, and my sweet family.
