Bible Verses on Working Together

Being isolated as a Christian can lead to discouragement, to the point that you end up doubting God and His promises. But when you lean on others and work with others, you will be encouraged and strengthened in your Christian walk.

As we will see from these scriptures about working together, many benefits and rewards come when we partner with others as believers. It also shows obedience to His will and principles.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

This is one of the most popular scriptures on working together. When two people work together on a project, business idea, a meal, chores, or housework, they have a good return for their labor. They achieve more because they help, strengthen, and encourage each other.

 Mark 6:7

And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits.

Acts 4:32

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
