This powerful Bible verse on doubt, encourages us to keep our focus on Jesus and His power rather than being consumed by doubt or the circumstances around us. It reminds us that even when doubts arise, Jesus is ready to rescue and restore us.

Do you ever doubt your identity as a child of God? This scripture on doubt reminds us that we are chosen, loved, and accepted by God as His children. We can trust in His love and purpose, even when doubts come into our minds.

The truth of our adoption into God’s family renews our confidence that we truly belong to Him. He protects, delivers, and saves us from harm.

1 Timothy 2:8

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

When faced with doubts, we can approach the Lord God with reverence and humility, surrendering our doubts and concerns to Him. By lifting holy hands, we express our willingness to submit to God’s will and trust in His guidance.

This doesn’t mean every time we pray or praise God we should lift our hands. Remember, God looks more at what’s happening on the inside than at outside appearances.

Even without physically lifting our hands, bowing down, or kneeling, the posture of our hearts should be that of surrender and submission.

By acknowledging our limitations and seeking His intervention, we open ourselves up to the transformative work of faith. Through this process, our doubts can become opportunities for growth and a deeper reliance on Jesus.

Psalm 23:4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Doubt is portrayed as a wavering and unstable state of mind, similar to being tossed about by the wind and waves. Faith is a journey, and it is normal to experience doubts along the way.

As we deepen our relationship with God and actively work to strengthen our faith, doubt is gradually defeated, and we have a stronger belief in the power and promises of God. We must have confidence and trust in God’s ability to answer our prayers.

Jesus was with His disciples when they came across a fig tree that didn’t have fruit. He immediately cursed it, and it withered, to the surprise of the disciples.

By turning to God we can rely on His help and deliverance. Our doubts can be transformed into opportunities to experience His faithfulness and to give Him glory.

The people were kind to them, and because it was cold built a fire for them. As Paul put wood on the fire, a snake fastened itself on his hand, and he shook it off into the fire.

The native people were amazed as they expected him to swell up from the venomous bite, but this didn’t happen.
